1. Apply for funding

    This is an on-demand scheme which means you can apply at any time.

    To apply companies should download and complete the Technology Fellowship Application Form and send it to the Foundation. This joint application must be signed by the three parties; company, university and student. We also suggest you look at our standard contract.

    A Foundation business manager will contact the company if further information is needed. Students interested in the scheme should contact their academic supervisor or a company they are interested in.

  2. Funding decision is made

    The Foundation will contact the company or university advising them if the application has been approved. This will usually be within four weeks of the Foundation receiving the proposal.   Funding can only commence after the date of approval.  
  3. Contract is completed

    A contract is sent to the company, the university and the student to sign.
  4. Payment is made

    Monthly payments are made to the student by the university. Short reports, signed by each party, are required each quarter. A final report is needed to release the final payment to the student.
  5. Evaluating success

    The Foundation may contact the applicants to review success of the Technology Fellowship project.
