Stable Funding Environment: Moving to Phase 2

Published: 4 Apr 2008 The Foundation? is moving to the next stage of the Stable Funding Environment that began with negotiated contracts in some areas in 2006.

We have issued a consultation document – ‘Stable Funding Environment: Moving to Phase 2’ – setting out our proposals.

The document provides an overview of what we believe are important dimensions of change for the innovation system – the extension of investment by negotiation and the proposal to create significant strategy-led platforms of research for New Zealand in key areas of national importance.

The formal consultation on our proposed evolution of negotiated investment will close on May 13.
