Urban Research Strategy

The Urban Research Strategy aims to maximise the effectiveness of the Foundation’s research science and technology investments that contribute to successful outcomes for urban research in the short and medium term.

The Māori Research and Innovation Strategy aims to maximise the effectiveness of the Foundation's research, science and technology investments that contribute positive outcomes for Māori and progress Māori knowledge.

Draft Freshwater Research Strategy

The draft Freshwater Research Strategy (PDF 126KB) is intended to guide the Foundation for Research Science and Technology and the research sector and is targeted at ensuring that the science system delivers the information and tools required to enable world class management of water resources in New Zealand. 

Draft Soil Research Strategy

The Foundation is reviewing the direction and co-ordination soils research to ensure the underlying knowledge and tools are available to allow decisions on the 'management' of the soil resource for national outcomes. This draft Soil Research Strategy outlines, as research objectives, the information needs for managing the soil resource.
