The LCET scheme aims to support research that is related to the scale up and demonstration of existing research on second generation biofuels, other low carbon liquid biofuels and low carbon energy technologies.

We are investing in this scheme using a one-stage contestable process.

What stage is the investment process at?

  • We are currently assessing the proposal applications.

    Applicants will be notified of the results on 14 July 2008.

    A list of the successful proposals will be published on the website a week later.

Current funding available

In 2007/8 we are seeking to invest $4.0 million through this scheme.
