This portfolio aims to support research that improves the value of New Zealand's food production.
We are investing in this portfolio using a two-stage contestable process as part of the Leveraging New Zealand's Natural Resources (LNNR) investment process.
We are currently assessing the proposal applications.
Applicants will be notified of the results on 14 July 2008.
A list of the successful proposals will be published on the website a week later.
In 2007/8 we are seeking to invest $7.3 million in research that aligns with the following target outcome:

We are seeking to invest in short to medium-term research projects as described in the following table.
