The objective of this research is to develop international funding partnerships through research projects co-funded with the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS).

We are investing in objective two using a one-stage on-demand process, run annually.

What stage is the investment process at?

  • Proposals must be submitted through myFRST by 12pm (midday), 7 August 2008.

    This process has a standing advisory group which is listed on the website. If you have a confidentiality or conflict of interest issue with any of the members, please give details in your application.

Current funding available

In 2008/09 we are seeking to invest $1.125 million. The research must align with the above objective, and at least one of the target outcomes from the Foundation’s 18 portfolios.
