Funding available 2008/09
We are investing approximately $9.7 million in Research Consortia
? per annum.
There are two separate timelines and application guidelines:
- The first covers consortia looking to submit new proposals, as well as existing consortia applying for a new contract term at the end of the full seven year funding period (second cycle funding).
- The second covers consortia with existing contracts looking for growth or extension funding.
Growth funding is where the consortia submits a proposal which seeks to increase their investment. Extension funding is where the research consortia submits a proposal to have their current contract extended up to the maximum of seven years, where it is currently shorter than this.
See the below for funding overview pages:
Please note: the introduction of the research and development tax credit on 1 April 2008 is likely to have an effect on the tax treatment of contributions made to research partnerships. You should check with your tax advisor to fully understand the implications of the tax credit.
See a summary of changes to Research Consortia since the 2006/07 Request for Proposals.
