Envirolink Small Advice Grants

This scheme aims to help regional councils apply and utilise existing environmental knowledge.

Small Advice Grants provide expert consultation to eligible regional councils. Councils may apply for a Small Advice Grant at any time, using an on-demand process.

Current funding available

In 2008/09 we are seeking to invest $1.1 million (GST exclusive) in the Envirolink? scheme for Small and Medium Advice Grants.

Councils can apply for up to $5,000 (GST exclusive) in Small Advice Grants.

Who can apply?

To be eligible for a Small Advice Grant, applications must;

  • be from one of the nine specified regional councils;
  • demonstrate the intention of creating a positive environmental outcome;
  • be seeking scientific or technical advice relating to environmental management; and
  • not be a routine task for the council.
