About us

Global Expert team

Our team is technically strong, easy to communicate with and specialises in finding practical expert solutions from NZ, Australia, Asia, Europe and the Americas to accelerate our client’s business growth.

We have completed more than 300 expert searches on behalf of NZ companies. Industry sectors served include specialised manufacturing, specialised materials, food and beverage, software, medical, pharmaceuticals, neutraceuticals, veterinary, agriculture, life-sciences, horticulture and forestry.

How we work

We listen to your requirements and clarify the challenge and ideal expert profile. A search brief outlining the project description is prepared for your approval before we start the search.

We cast a wide search net to find the most suitable experts with the technology, skills and knowledge for each project.

Potential experts are interviewed by phone and where there is a match, we include the expert in our search report. This report includes contact details and capability information for the shortlist of interested and available experts.

From our report, you can then contact each of the experts directly to discuss your project in more detail before deciding who to work with.

Examples

Market-related questions in the design or delivery stages of a project

We have connected companies to experts to provide market assessments and identify market dynamics, opportunities, market channels and potential channel partners.

Where possible, we try to connect companies to market experts with knowledge of their products, field of application to provide market insight and where appropriate make introductions to suitable channel partners and/or potential product/design licensees.

Technical questions across all project stages

Our expert connections have helped companies solve production, process and new product development challenges. Many companies have accelerated their development and improved their success by using experts to complement their own resources.

We have assisted with:

  • Product design, incorporation of new features, technologies, materials or material coatings
  • Specialist equipment design and manufacture
  • Introduction or adaptation of manufacturing processes to enhance product features, product life, durability, sustainability or provide a new product offering.
  • Specialised product testing advice
  • Regulatory compliance advice

Technology sourcing and specialist supplier related questions

We have connected companies to new technology providers and specialist product suppliers. These suppliers of leading edge materials and technologies have sometimes included spin-out companies from universities and research organisations with relevant and novel technologies.

We have connected small NZ companies with large overseas companies where the NZ companies found this difficult to achieve on their own.

Supplier sourcing questions have identified:

  • Mechanical, hydraulic & electronic equipment/devices for specialised applications
  • Specialised materials – polymers, bio-polymers, coatings, adhesives etc
  • Specialised service providers and contract manufacturers
